Campus is a progressive, independent and autonomous company based in Frankfurt am Main. We focus on creative and modernistic construction projects together with imaginative living concepts and designs.

Our projects are created and implemented by many different players: Architects, Engineers, Designers and Suppliers. Everyone are specialists in their fields that range from kindergartens to retirement homes.

Our vision is to build affordable, unconventional and futuristic Housing projects with simple and practical solutions for their implementation.

Our modular construction methods have advanced from stereotype and monotonous repetitions to experimental and visionary forms and styles that offer new economic and ecological possibilities.

This how we work. Through our network we search and find competent people and companies to form a project group with experience, creativity, and regional knowledge. We are not bound to any suppliers or construction method. We work with many leading manufacturers and can therefore offer tailor-made solutions that include high-quality, prompt delivery and competitive pricing. As said, we are like a search engine, you receive the best offer based on your needs.

Almost anyone can think up an idea. The thing that counts is developing it into a practical product.

CAMPUS WINS PRESTIGIOUS EUROPEAN ARCHITECT AND CONSTRUCTION COMPETITION.
68 NEW HOUSES
ON THE ISLAND OF HELGOLAND...

CAMPUS wins prestigious housing project on Heligoland.
CAMPUS360 will build 84 residential units on Germany's only offshore island in collaboration with the architectural firm SANGBERG from Copenhagen. The total of 8 construction sites are located on the Helgoland Oberland around the lighthouse and represent the last, larger construction area on the island.

At the same time, the new development marks the western end of the Oberland residential development and merges seamlessly into the unique nature of the Oberland.

"Affordable living space with sea views for singles and families should be developed." Is one of the many requirements in the invitation to tender.
The project developed by CAMPUS and SANGBERG is characterized by flexible floor plan solutions and an architectural language that in its simplicity refers to the characteristic stylistic features of the Heligoland houses.

The individual houses consist of prefabricated modules, which are produced on the mainland under optimal conditions. This ensures a high standard of quality combined with a cost-effective design.

Each Module is constructed using sustainable materials, with a high proportion of wood and natural products to meet the highest possible energy saving requirements.Prefabrication also enables much shorter construction and assembly work on site.

"The development in recent years in tourism, offshore and research, the housing needs increased significantly," said Mayor Singer. “Currently there are 50 job vacancies which have not been filled due to lack of accommodation for employees on the island''.

The project is the result of a one-year dialogue between bidders and representatives of the municipality of Helgoland, who are the project's builder.
"We at CAMPUS are proud to be allowed to build on Heligoland and create much-needed affordable housing there. With this we can make a significant contribution to the development of the island.

Especially the sustainable aspect of the construction project as well as flexible solutions are important to us. For this we can fall back on the experience from other projects in modular design.

Of course, the uniqueness of the island and its history is also very appealing, "says Danish Managing Director Peter Memborg-Kring of CAMPUS. In the years 1707 to 1807 the offshore island belonged to Denmark.
